Pastrami Avocado Cheesy Toast

The morning when you wake up and not sure what you want to eat and you realized you got an air-fryer that could possibly whip something up without having to clean much. Mother nature decided to rain on us this week in Cali and it has been chilly so this hit the spot.

You don’t necessary need to have an air-fryer to make this. This recipe works with an oven too.

Recipe - Pastrami Avocado Cheesy Toast

  • Servings: 1

  • 2 slices of bread, toasted
  • 1/2 avocado
  • 1/4 cup or less of Mexican blended cheese (or your cheese of choice)
  • butter spread (optional)


  1. Set air-fryer at 350F.
  2. Spread butter on the bread. Add in shredded cheese on the side where there is no butter, then layer whatever you desire on top then top it off with the other bread slice. Make sure the bread that is covered with the butter spread is facing out when air-frying so the toast can crispy.
  3. Place the toast into the air-fryer, cook it for 4 minutes each side or until the cheese is melted.
